Underachieving at Star Wars: Battlefront
I didn't play anything new yesterday. Just a bunch of Rainbow Six: Siege a little bit of Star Wars: Battlefront and I finished up Monster High. I had intended to make a new video I just didn't get around to it. Tonight I decided to make a video of the new map on Star Wars. I have Kung Fu Panda some new Indie Games and a backlog of about a thousand games to get into eventually. DudeWithTheFace offered some really good feedback and suggestions to make video improvements. I don't know if I have enough time to heavily edit videos daily but as I stream line processes I should be able to do some cooler and in depth stuff. I feel like if done right 15 minutes should be enough time to show what a game is all about if done right.
Battle of Jakku Impressions
Battle of Jakku is the new map on Star Wars: Battlefront. Turning Point is the new game mode. The map is massive, has a great look and feel and may be the most epic set piece in the Battlefront galaxy so far. Turning Point is a game mode where Rebels try and over take the crash site of an Imperial Star Destroyer. The imperials start out defending three "capture points" then fall back to two and finally the last stand. If rebels capture all points they win the match, if imperials exhaust the Rebels tickets, they win. Very much a game mode Battlefield fans are used to.
Battlefront is one of my favorite games on Xbox. Even though it has been getting shit on reviews wise for not having enough content or depth. I like the variety of game modes, massive maps and constant action. I don't regret the purchase at all. I think the biggest fault in Battlefront is people don't play to the objective. They treat every game mode as Team Death Match. Teamwork makes a huge difference in games. Maybe after working on teamwork so much in Rainbow has tainted my view of team work in other games. Either way Battlefront is much more fun than people are giving it credit for and the new map just adds to the overall greatness. It is multiplayer only. there is no campaign. but if you enjoy first person team combat this is a game you should definitely give a chance.
Achievement Tip: Monster High: NGIS
So to save your self a few hours in this dumb game. The first thing you will want to do when entering the schools main doors is double back up the stairs to either side of the entry way. Enter the door directly above the main entrance that leads to the bell tower. Climb all the way to the top and ring the bell this will unlock the "Ring-a-Ding-Ding" achievement. Continue to ring the bell 7-10 more times until a cutscene is queued where a robot falls out of the bell. this will give you 1,000 bonus coins and instantly unlock the "Money Bags" achievement. From this point on every time you see the shopping bag pop up on the phone screen open the phone menu and buy the discounted item of the day. The first purchase will land you the "Buy Clothing Online" achievement" You can do this three or four times a day and it will drastically increase how quickly you get the "Full Wardrobe" and ultimately the "Complete" achievement.
