Underachieving at Line of Defense Tactics

Underachieving at Line of Defense Tactics

One of the biggest UFC events of the year went down last night. All five fights on the main card looked great on paper. Plus one of my all time favorite fighters Uriah Faber headlined the under card. But the only thing I wanted to see was Connor McGregor finally take a beating. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. José Aldo hadn't lost in a decade and, McGregor knocked him out in 13 seconds. It was a disappointing end to a solid week of fights. Luke Rockhold looked great in taking Chris Widemans belt. Wideman took an incredible beating before giving up his belt. All in all it was a good pay per view. Much stronger card than the last few.

I got my new Microsoft Band 2 yesterday. I haven't had enough time with it to write any kind of review but it's much more comfortable than the original Band. I have it paired to my Lumia 950XL and will likely dopamine off blog to cover the new phone and accessories now that I've had it a few weeks.

As far as gaming goes yesterday I played some more Rainbow Six. We've started working on Realistic Terrorist Hunt as a team. It is insanely difficult but satisfying to get any small victory. I also finished 6180 the Moon. So I can confirm it is pretty easy and a 2 hour 1,000 points for $3.99. You should play it. Beyond that I started the new game Line of Defense Tactics.

Line of Defense Tactics: Impressions

So, in the video I fail the same level twice which is a little embarrassing but that is what happens when you just start new games with no idea of what is going on. I eventually figured it out so minor tip is the blue dude has the ability to heal squad mates with out any upgrades. Moving the whole squad at once is frustrating though. I managed to get 80 points out of the game in my first hour but beating the game on hardcore is something I already know I have little interest in. The game is also listed at $19.99 which is clearly too high for what you are getting here. If you are interested in this type of game I highly suggest you look into Wasteland 2 instead. You can get it on disc a little cheaper than Line of Defense costs to download and Wasteland offers a lot more story and depth.
